1.1 Publisher identification
The website gate.help is published by GateHelp SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company with €50,000 share capital, whose details are:

1.4 Intellectual property
All content on this site (GateHelp trademark, logo, text, illustrations, source code) is protected by French copyright and trademark law. Any reproduction without express authorisation is prohibited. Airline names mentioned belong to their respective owners.
02. Terms & conditions
2.1 Purpose of the contract
By accepting these Terms and signing the mandate of representation, you instruct GateHelp SAS to recover on your behalf, from airlines, the compensation owed under EU regulation (EC) no. 261/2004, the 1999 Montreal Convention and any other applicable rule.
2.2 Success fee
GateHelp is paid only on success, as a percentage of the gross amount actually recovered:

No fee is due if no compensation is recovered. Any lawyer, bailiff or procedure fees remain entirely on GateHelp, including if the court rejects the case.
2.3 Procedure
GateHelp commits to:
- Verify flight eligibility within 24 business hours via Eurocontrol, FlightAware and OAG databases.
- Send the airline a formal demand letter (registered with receipt or legal equivalent) within 5 business days.
- Initiate, if needed, a court procedure via a partner law firm, at its own expense.
- Inform the Client at every step via the personal dashboard, by email and where applicable by WhatsApp and SMS.
- Wire the Client the net amount (gross compensation minus fee) within 7 days of actual receipt of funds.
2.4 Client's obligations
The Client commits to providing accurate information, not claiming directly from the airline in parallel, and forwarding to GateHelp any sum received outside GateHelp's channels within 14 days.
2.5 Right to withdraw
Pursuant to article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Client has 14 days to withdraw without reason. After this period and if a procedure has been started, withdrawal remains possible but the 25% fee may be due if the settlement with the airline is already secured.
2.6 Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is subject to French law. In case of dispute, the competent courts are those of the Client's domicile if the Client is a consumer. Amicable mediation may be requested via the consumer mediator: MEDICYS, 73 Bd de Clichy, 75009 Paris.
03. Privacy policy
3.1 Data controller
GateHelp SAS, registered in Paris under n° 942 781 304, acts as data controller within the meaning of GDPR. You can reach our DPO at dpo@gate.help.
3.2 Data we collect

3.3 Your rights

To operate, we use the following sub-processors — all European or EU-USA DPF compliant:
- OVHcloud · application hosting (France)
- Scaleway · encrypted database (France)
- Mistral · boarding-pass OCR (France)
- Stripe · compensation payouts (Ireland)
- Postmark · transactional emails (USA · DPF certified)

Gate.help uses a minimal number of cookies. No advertising cookies, no third-party pixel, no retargeting.

05. Sample mandate

This mandate is concluded with no signup fee and entitles the Agent to a 25% incl. VAT commission on the gross amount actually recovered, payable only on success.
